Onboard Coworking Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Onboard Coworking Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On March 26, 2022, Onboard Coworking held its ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark its grand opening. The guest list consisted of several prominent figures, media members, and welcomed guests who were all invited to take part in this special event for both the company and the city of El Monte.

In attendance was Congresswoman Judy Chu, who represents the 27th U.S. district of California, City of El Monte mayor, Jessica Ancona, Cameron Griffin, a representative for Assemblywoman Blanca E. Rubio, who represents California’s 48th Assembly District, and members of El Monte’s city council.

Phoenix T.V., ETTV America Corporation, and several other prominent Chinese media organizations were there to cover the event. Our very own Melissa Mu (C.E.O.) spoke to those in attendance about the much-needed addition of the first shared large-scale office platform in the San Gabriel Valley. When asked about what sparked the idea to offer sharable office space, Melissa emphasized the trending demand to have more options in office spaces by providing flexible and cost-effective terms that are more accessible to anyone.

Prior to Onboard Coworking’s establishment, residents in East Los Angeles County and the greater San Gabriel Valley had very few options for shared office spaces. Today, we are proud to fulfill that need for many independent business owners of all sizes, employees who may be looking for an escape from daily distractions at home, start-ups with limited budgets, and established companies and businesses that need more flexibility than the traditional long-term office lease model.

Eric Wu, our Chief Operating Officer, spoke about how the project came to fruition at its current location. Located in the commercial center of El Monte, Onboard Coworking’s campus covers an area of 28,000 square feet and provides 90 independent office spaces. Onboard Coworking couldn’t be situated in a more ideal area; not only is it centrally located to the rest of the San Gabriel Valley, but it is less than 5 minutes away from the 10 Freeway, providing greater access to everyone across Los Angeles County.

For many members of the community, this was the first time getting the opportunity to explore the building and its surroundings. In addition, it was also a chance to view all the features and amenities that come along with the membership plans, such as office equipment, fast and reliable Internet, meeting rooms, and of course, enough coffee to get you through the day. We also offer hourly meeting rooms and event rooms that can be rented out for reasonable rates for special occasions.

Onboard Coworking takes pride in cementing itself not just as another business offering a service but also as a member of the business community by regularly hosting networking business events where people from all walks of life can have the opportunity to meet and potentially collaborate together. Our presence can help promote more remarkable growth among the business community and even attract new business.

The Grand Opening ceremony was a success and a chance to demonstrate the value that we bring to the community. We hope you get to join us very soon! Do you have questions or wish to learn more about our services?
